harley update @ the brake test!

Damn, never thought that a test can be so great!

I took my sportster to a brake test at nurmijärvi, and i think it passed it with easy.

The test was provided from Testmill, and i dont have any bad to say, everything went well, and in was nice to hear someone else´s thoughts about my bike.

how can you tell that...

30 degrees c and a harley....great combo! ok a convertible ghia or similar would be great too, but i dont have one.

harley update @ nummi-pusula - ITS Awesome.

nothing beats (almost) riding a harley in twisty roads. its just so awesome, V2 sounds just right, 30 degrees hot, sun is shining all the time... huh...JIMI likes the bike very much, JIMI´s mom was a bit confused because the bike didnt look like it used to look... ;-)

but its great to be at home for a day, in a bit cooler than in Nummi-pusula, (38° celsius in the shadow) :-( tooooo warm.

harley update - ITS Awesome.

i have to confess that i took a spin with the harley, (sorry no details) ;-) and it felt soooooo gooood, the engine is great, tha frame is great and everything works. ok i didnt have the seat so the bumps were hurting my back bone a bit... but thats nothing compared to the feeling that a v2-hardtail-chopper gives you. :-) im in looove again. ;-) and whats better - i found the papers for the harley, + the video recorders charging cord so i can take some clips too. A special thanks for the help today goes to Tomi Seppälä, who helped me to install the seat!

...oh boy! well the bike needs some logos or something, but who gives a rats ass, IT WORKS! thats all that counts. ...to be continued!

ok, projects projects... should concentrate... but what can you do?

harley and KG would be both cool to have in the streets...but lets see what will end to use...

well with the harley, i have to get nuts and bolts, and some minor things...

the exhaust that was done in voodoo, is not what i wanted...so ill try first to put the "original one with some mods... + the seat...hmmmm... i paid for a new one...what i got is a used one...

but ebay is full of these... so that will do the trick... more to come...

2010 - hopefully a good one.

one big thing on my mind has been this one... my chopper sportster.

its been in voodoo metal 3 years... we just picked it up, to get it finished and maybe even to the road again... thanks so much for Jussi Jyranko, who was a biiiig help again.

looks pretty good, a classic semi swedish style chopper... better late than never... :-)

i want to thank also Jussi Halonen from Voodoo metal for the mods, the result is beautiful.

...ok it took 3 years but still the stance is awesome.

harley update - parts for voodoo metal

bought some necessary parts from HOTBIKE, front & rear discs, new chains, offset parts... etc. delivery on monday. ;-)

maybe the v-twin will speak to me in 2009 ;-)

harley update 2 - from voodoo metal

not the fastest day, those pesky oil lines, huh...well the fork is now on its place. the wiring seems to be short, and pretty uncool. the front end parts are still bit loose, because i have to get some parts modified. more to come - stay tuned.

i´m on my vacation...well babysitting JIMI, but i got couple of hours to start the chopper build-up. After this, i´ll put the fork to the front, after its completed, then the rear wheel setup, and after that maybe the wiring etc...

...but the important thing is, that its happening ;-)

well, i got the harley frame back from the powder coating, and i was stunned! DAMN it looks good, the frame is from my 1988 spotster harley, converted to "classic" chopper style, with hard tail, etc. check the picks.
The conversion is happening in voodoo metal, in malmi.
i have a 21" in front, and 18x200 in rear.
