Exhausting & silent?

... Hopefully, the black ghia will be a "stealth-mobile" after this upgrade! Its a new muffler with a flapper valve, silent at the idle but louder when pressed harder! 

My intentions are that the ghia wouldnt make so much noise... But lets see how this turns out! Pekka took it with him to kangasniemi city. :-)

What a day!!!

I got the most awesome package from the post, actually two of them, have to say that bob tiltons calender is the best calender that i have ever found, im speechless! This is something to have, its simply beautiful, huh... A super big thank you to BOb Tilton, and i hope that i can find something to send from finland!

Ghia update - the dark one

I got new door handles to the 1960 stroker-turbo-ghia,
These are the early ones that are harder to find, but www.karmannghia.com came to help! Thanks for TJ! - hopefully the great wizard in kangasniemi, finds some time to this project, because i would love to take the car to the strip and to the cruise nights in helsinki.
I also got the missing meters, sidetrims...but some minor parts are still coming from summit racing, and i would need a new muffler...

Slipping and sliding

Had to take the harley for a short spin, even theres ice, sand, snow and water everywhere, but it was great! Cant wait for the summer... :-) ok its not the best idea, but you know... "Mans gotta do what mans gotta do"

Still alive!

I survived of the open heart surgery, and i am feeling better now, its been 3-4 weeks of it and have to say it was worth the hassle! Did you know that this is the one of the most expensive surgery in usa? It costs something like 350.000 usd?! Crazy thing... Im happy to live in finland! :-) it costs in here 391€... Think about that! :-) ... So how this relates to this picture? Well i guess that i might be trying to race my ghia with this "accelerator" in the summer! .... Hope so!

Shit happens - again & again

Now i know how the "stroke" feels, as i got one, it was looong lasting. But hey, i'm still around,
Im again hospitalised, and for the moment im waiting for a heart surgery... It should happen in a week, :-) the last 2 years has been very sad & dissapointing and i have had a lot of heart problems, but in the examinations, i have been told that i have no problems with my blood circulation...
Well after the stroke, i came to the hospital and they checked me in endoscopy... Badabing, 3 veins 90-95 % blocked... So now i will stay at the bed! Till they open my chest and stops my "pump".
After that... Who knows
