small improvements... with this.

Today i worked with the blinkers, 

but theres still some bugs somewhere.

but the engine starts right up, 

maybe i get also the blinkers work tomorrow?

what did i do today?

well there was a great progress with this blue ghia, 

mostly with the wiring and electrics,i got help from T. Parjanen, 

it was a great day, sun was shining and the cottage looked beautiful, 

have to go more often, to work this car and just to enjoy the spring weather. 

lots of things to do, but we are getting there, i believe. ;-)

 

a low light by a surprise?

well seems like that the baby blue cab is actually a low light body modified to a newer front, not 100% sure, but pretty sure by now :-)

so should i take a step to the lowlight looking cabriolet or not? well theres a plenty other things to do, but its nice to know. my guess is that it was hit to the front and fixed with the never sheet metal, and the body color might have been paprika red.

El cheapo ghia

Last time at the cottage, i wanted to stuff the engine to the ghia, its a "trash bin 12-hundred" so not much of expectations here, but im just doing these things to amuse myself... I dont know anything of this engine, but it turns, so thats something atleast. I had a new pressure bearing so i sacrifised that to this project, and it was a good decision, the used one was toasted. What i have to do also is to raise the rear because the rear suspension is useless, too low to drive, and it will stuck in places... I would like to put winter tyres and try this sled in the icy roads.... But anyways its fun to do things. To be continued...
