i had a space for a music player, but not that actual player, so i had to put a 30 euros bargain new sony mp3 player to the bug. First i thought that maybe it s a bad idea, because of some wiring hanging there, but with a tester, i got the picture, where there's some current. i even found a amp in the bug, and when i tracked the colors, and took out extra wiring. i now have a player in the bug. great thing.
damn what can i say? the WBX is alive!
There's something special in this bug. the wbx- engine. its the 2.1 liter, with injection. inspected with that too. BUT, the engine OR the injection is dead. will see... i´ve been tinkering with this for a while, and one repair shop tried it also for 2 years. (don't know how long they actually tried it) but its interesting for sure. I also tried to eliminate the injection parts and get a twin carb setup, normal distributor and fuel pump. but there's something there that is bugging this beetle. ok, i took it to a shop, with my maxxecu parts, and maybe this beetle is getting a second life after all. i would love to drive a bug for a while. and as i do have 3 turbo setups, one might guess what is happening later on. if it will run. stay tuned, this smells interesting.
