The part that you allmost never change in a bus a steering rod, in the picture...poor space to use good tools, but i will get the job done, i dont like to quit... :-/ but you know what? Seems like the part in the bus is only 54 years old, so it could use a break... ;-) it has the grease nipples...

And big thanks to oberschlachter for the correct part, its not the easiest part to find...

huh, driving with summer tires, lowered suspension, big brakes etc... NOT THE BEST THING to have WITH THAT WHITE STUFF everywhere!

dailydriver panel van

because of one drunken 17 years old rastafar-idiot, our grocery-getter audi is at a paint shop...so going to the country is taken care with the twilight bros panel... and why not, its inspected and everything... works like a clock. ok the temperature was over 30 degrees c, so its pretty melting hot in the cabin... ( the "slim boy" is my brother - arttu ;-)...

we were waiting for some thunder and lightning show from the sky, but it never came at the country... but in the city it started to look different... :-)

TWILIGHT BROS - GOING TO SLEEP.

DROVE THE PANEL WITH MY MOM AS A co-pilot, to the cottage... there was a noise coming from the right side of the cabin..."dont drive so fast, remember the speed limits" yep...(i know. but it was so fun to drive).
theres also loads of porsche parts inside. ...so if you have something on your mind, let me know.
i hope to be able tio drive the Karmann ghia next sumer...got to get more money!!!

rothmans racer, engine transplant or deep sleep?

hard to decide, should i just drive the panel to the cottage to sleep for couple of months, or drive it to kangasniemi for a small repair/service...and maybe for a bigger and more powerfull engine? I KNOW THAT this engine is the best of the bunch, starts right up, goes well, wont even drink so much, well theres no bad things to say...ok, maybe i need the magical "100 hp more" ;-)
but then comes the bad parts, allways broken, brakes the tranny, needs lots of tuneup, etc...but it would be so coool to tease the tuned cars a bit more... got to think harder... i know that my co-driver will be sad anyway. :-(

btw, buy my 912 engine!

Rothmans panelvan - dyno!

"twilight brothers - (veljekset hämärä)" strikes again. first we hauled some "garden crap" to the country-place, and on the way back, i took it to the DYNO to see whats motivating this little parts hauler... 82 hp / 144 Nm.

- repair for 912 brakes
- getting new bucket seats 4 the 912
- service for the panel van
- clean up for the garage
- selling many parts to get more dineros
- getting my e-mail working again.

i need some winter tyres

instant hiroof, those low profile tyres, with hard compound 205 and 225 width, lowered hard suspension...aint the best at the snow ;-)
