GHIA VERT UPDATE

AT FRIDAY, I rode to mäntsälä with my hardtail HD, to see and make small fixes to the vert.
first i swapped the door striker plate parts, (and it took only 10 minutes...) and now the doors swill stay closed. :-) i was happy ´bout this... second trick was to get the ghia running... ok some crap at the ignition (in the points) after some sips of gas, ... it really started up. it srtayed running even the gas is pretty old, smelled really bad & old... but still it runs. the car dont have any brakes, but i managed to test drive it... even better, now we have allways a shorter list to the inspection... ;-) have to check how to eliminate those black widow spyders, if there is any... just in case... any suggestions?

ok, after this i rode back to helsinki with the bike... and went straight to the cruising... and there was the baddest truck that exist in this planet... you cant top that... check the picks in the other topic. and after the cruising, i went to sepänkatu to see tomi seppälä and talk about the roller cams (with one frosted beer)...heh. sounds like a good friday? it really was.

water coming from the roof of the cellar, BUT i had luck, because i just got the pauter turbo engine safely to Kangasniemi, with big help from mika särkelä, tomi seppälä, pekka laitinen, and korrek :-) Now my other parts & magazines are in danger... theres a pauter turbo kit, american racing wheels etc... fighting against the water. :-( well at least i know what im doing this weekend. :-(

looks pretty sharp, but we do like the "gold digger wheels" more on this car. naughty videos coming later... ;-) when the smoke settles... ;-)

porsche 912 - out in the cold

we took the 912 porscha out of the garage...its heading to kangasniemi as well... theres some machining needed for the brakes...and some other stuff as well... the 3.0 engine is half teared apart... i still like the body very much, and it can keep the sad sun burned look for now, but im not out of the ideas...thats for sure. i got two wheels from the UB-52 (check out tomi s. blog its pretty cool) and after one minute they looked pretty niiiice. (a bit alfa romeo style)

Jussi Jyranko from Kuplapaja took care of the delivery, and he also brought a Karmann Ghia pan to the garage....hmmmm... theres gonna be some tubbing, slamming, shortening, and more for that... ok, i think ill shorten it 20 cm to get it under the Steyr 55 ... well even two weld racing wheels came along... :-)

NEW INSPECTORS at the GARAGE

Jimi wanted to see whats happening in the garage. He made some tune-up for the Karmann Ghia, checked the nitrous nozzle & and helped to push the wassercoolers... (Tomi´s RS2 Audi).
Jimi had some new ideas about getting to the 11´s. We will see more about that later?
