one mild 1915 cc coming through...

I have many parts in my storages, as you might have seen :-) so its time to get them in the use, and what would be great that i might be trying to drive one of my v-dubs again in the winter time... what it might be, that is not decided yet, :-) but it should be something else than a bone stock 1600 cc or a smaller. So this could be one ....a stock 69 crank, a engle w110 type cam, 94 cylinders, some better flowing heads, and some 40 dellortos, headers, 009, full flow, nothing fancy, or would this be a engine for the panel van for a change... 

untill the fuel injected 2332 cc stroker is ready :-)











Things are taking a lot more time than i would hope, 
as i have to visit meilahti hospital couple of time s a week for now...

Getting in the gear, with the cool ghia



Driving could be much easier with working gears, at least one reverse gear. 
So after many times to try to adjust the old school shifter, i gave up and started to dig up the real problem, i found out that the shift rod had any bushing left, and the joint to the hockey stick was waiting for retirement, ok, i took out the shift rod and the joint, 

After cleaning & oiling the shift rod, i started to put it back, but it wasnt a one hour job, ok, had to buy a magnetic pick up tool also, ... Ok, i got the parts back on, but had to modifie the joint area a bit.

But this thing really helped and now the gears are like they should be, so if you got problems to engage gears, check these areas first.  Now it feels like i could go racing with it. 

Now theres only 99 jobs to do ;-)

A big surprise!

A big thanks to keiteleen kone, to stock these... For a sixties type 2, a brake pedal spring and a speedometer wire, and 12 v bulbs for the speedo. You dont find these in many places... :-) im happy!

X-mas coming... And coming ;-)

This time came some smaller parts, superflow-ida manifolds, oilpump cover with pressure valve and linkage, thanks for aircooled.fi! Looks great! Now i only need some 48 carbs. Whats next in line? The bearings etc from keiteleen kone. Then i would guess that its time for some serious assembly... Yikes!

our latest paruzzi AD!



the Vert needs my attention again. it will need, dropped & narrowed front axle, porsche pattern disks in front, 5-130 mm to the rear also, new bearings, new brakes, and those chromed 17" Foochs wheels. the ghia slides like a train in the highway, but there could be a bit more style...and becuse of me, first the attitude then the ... REST ...








i got new GREAT GHIA repairpanels from the paruzzi boys, and have to say that this is not some china junk, its real steel, have to locate a fast/good welder though... what else? a new retro sound radio... not installed yet, but im working on it... picks coming later, while i get myself on thr right mood to do some assembly. i guess that in these days.  :-)

the BAD... ok, i tryed to get parts from Keiteleen kone, drive to the yard...but 3 times - no service, no answer, no info....that does it for me. ...then to the motonet vantaa to get parts, ok, in lohja i got brake cylinders but not in helsinki or vantaa... :-(

so when i will try to get more parts in the sametime. from paruzzi.fi.
