sounds like a bee with rabies. :-) 

new brake caliper to the dodge, 

even the snow hit the ground, 

but have to make this work. looks like these are kelsey hayes brakes...

us-parts came to rescue.

the drag buggy

 ok, i couldn't resist this one. a street buggy from sweden, what a bad ass buggy. 10.7 in the quarter mile.

So i went with JIMI (my son) to Wasa with a trailer, stayed a night in a hotel, then in the morning after a good breakfast, went to the ship without a car or trailer, heading to UMEÅ.There was Mats and Palle, waiting with the buggy in the harbour already. oh boy, a drag buggy but street legal. a bottle of NOS and everything that one might need. we hadn't much time, but after cruising with the buggy at the harbour area...we drove the racer to the ship and then to the trailer and back to helsinki... 

a pretty long trip, but worth every penny. and the buggy.... its just awesome... and fast.

small service to the ghia

As the oil in the engine looks like latte coffee, due to the E85, 

i had to change the oil, and the filter too, as i want to run the engine occasionally.

the weather was ok in the beginning, but as we went to buy oil and a filter, we got some snow...

but that didn't bother, at least not much. the next thing to the ghia, is to get it in a warmer place...

then starts the trouble shooting, for the leaks, and have to check if the cam is ok...

i ordered some stuff from amazon...for that leak testing....

 

taking the ghia for a spin.

that ghia is a fun little car, the co-pilot was wondering if the clutch slips, 

and also that the engine broke down, but I'm happy that 

it didn't brake down, only couple oil lines got hurt. have to change for new ones.

they were only breather hoses, so now oil pressure problems...

but the engine runs and the clutch is ok.

i haven't accelerated with the 4th gear, only throught 1-2-and 3rd gears.

it wouldn't hurt to get money, and take this to the dyno, and later on to the inspection.

also re-tighten parts and check for the leaks in the intake manifold too...

 

Wheels of change....

how lame is that for a subject? hehehe, well this time its a nice to check the wheels, what suits and whats a  bit out of style. what do you think? theres one wheel set to try after this. but they are under my Porsche 911 RSR wannabe.

the problem is that this Dodge has small bolt pattern at the rear and 

big in front. + BMW adapters/spacers

for the rear theres, slot mags with 275-15, AR torque trust with 275-17 wheels, 

and grey torque thrust with 275 but with chevy pattern.

and for the front 235 wide ones.... that might be the thing.

except it needs lowering down... but not now. 

What a ghia-weekend!

2 last days, at kangasniemi makes a big difference with the black ghia.

Now theres many things welded or modified, plenums, header, tubing, wastegate, cooler... Huh, even my pauter motors header got a tube and bracket for the wastegate... Wow... Im pretty happy.
