this is the engine that was in the car... it is actually a numbers matching 912, with options like, 5-speed, recaros, e-sunroof & fuchs. the engine has big bore set, hot cam, headers, etc...
Jesus, i wasnt that happy to figure out that the 2,4 liter 160 hp rebuildt 2,4 E engine was actually a 2,0 140 hp E engine. the triple webers were actually i 4-barrel weber, and whats the nicest thing...water coming out from the exhaust. GOD damn! this is a crappy situation. it only took 4 years to fix this car in this situation. the paint is toasted, the brakes are toasted, the battery is gone, ...the engine is something else that it was "sold" to me, damn...im speechless. huh. ok time to go and pick up my own parts from the "specialist" and make an engine of those parts.
im getting my porsche back from the heart-transplant (4 years) :-( i wonder how she looks now, i might be selling the classic recaros of the car, but will see that a bit later...its a numbersmatcing car, with sunroof, recaros, fuchs wheels, and a 5-speed.
i found new hindges for my Karmann Ghia, from the www.thesamba.com thanks for those "empiguy" now i only miss the time to get them in the place. :-( ...AND IM AT THE SUMMER VACATION.
