american car show - 2016 @ helsinki city

well its been hectic times in here, loads of work, and after work, more work. for the Finnish Volkswagen club and for the power preacher vw, but it was worth it. but let the pictures do the talking. heres some shots of the show, :-)

its alive! - the black turbo ghia...

not your basic old school engine bay...

i visited autotune.fi today, and now theres 20 litres of the

green gas E85 gasoline to be exact, loads of race oil and some other stuff as well, maybe we will hear some sound in a week? you never know. even the engine bay doesn't look so great, it looks purposeful, and i hope it will kick some ass...

i´ll take videos to youtube, when the time is right...

what did i do today?

well there was a great progress with this blue ghia,

mostly with the wiring and electrics,i got help from T. Parjanen,

it was a great day, sun was shining and the cottage looked beautiful,

have to go more often, to work this car and just to enjoy the spring weather.

lots of things to do, but we are getting there, i believe. ;-)

Time to draw...

I made these, and i will do more...

black ghia spy shots

the turbo-ghia is getting better and better, but pretty much

full in the engine bay, and I'm getting happier. more picks later.

Finding some lost parts for my 1915 project

The black ghia is in autotune.fi, for the new ecu and other turbo upgrades, so i can allways, seek for the lost parts for this 1915cc project, its going to be a "el cheapo" version, mainly putting stock parts and some tune up parts together, nothing fancy. Its a block that i had in my closet, a full flowed, line bored, with some oil mods, now with a stock 69 crank, stock rods, a engle w110 copy cam, bigger oil pump, 94 p/c kit, stock heads but with harder springs, double 40 dell's, 009 and a header...i think it will make that blue ghia vert in a great cruiser... Lets see... The picks are for memorising what i have to find... Oilpump, flywheel, plugs, cylinder spigots, bits&bobs ;-) and unported manifolds for the carbs too...
