could be the right stance & attitude for a 1970 model ghia

ok,this is what happens when you first sell car to someone...then he takes a hammer, and a chisel, and bangs the living crap out of the ghia verts body, to see if theres rust under it. ok many guys told this hammersmith, NOT to do so, because its not the right way to do it, but after some baging, this guy found out that its a bit too much for him,  and told that he´s not taking the car... ok, now it really looks awful, but... i can assure you that this is not "final" situation, or ... closed case in anyway. to be continued

poor ghia, but if you are interested of a 1970 ghia vert with papers... i can sell you one :-)

the pan-halves are new, the doors are closing ok etc... irs-rear, comes with a engine project, old bumpers, rear lights, seats (projects) etc... theres plenty of stuff, the price will be pretty good, etc...chrome steel wheels, needs a lot of care & looooove. but could be pretty awesome when ready (check out the other slammed pic)

ghia convert - on the run.

after many hours of work in kuplapaja, the vert woke up, and wanted home. ok, there were many isuues still to fix but... i wanted to take the "tub" home. for the cruise, it could´nt have been better... it was a warm summer night and i felt great! i also drove the car to our cottage, lost the brakes too, so i had to fix them before driving any further... there was 4 bars air in the tyres so the suspension felt a bit tough, ...and looks like i have to buy also new shocks, to get a better ride.

OK, heres my photos, i wanted to take more but like allways, theres too many old friends in there. sorry.but the sun was shining all day long, there was plenty of different cars, fastest time for a car was around 10.1, and i think that everyone was happy, except H.Vag, that totaled his pauter big block, on his way back to the pits... looks like it needs a bit more than the valve adjustment... sad thing. but thats racing, have to remember this with my pauter engine... . check out the picks and one short iphone clip (click the title)
