GHIA vert picks from the cottage.

taking it easy, fixing the ghia, and having fun. great thunder storm, approx. 30 liters of water inside of the car, but who gives a rats ass..., sun comes after the rain, and the sky is the limit for some new ideas... :-)

our latest paruzzi AD!

the Vert needs my attention again. it will need, dropped & narrowed front axle, porsche pattern disks in front, 5-130 mm to the rear also, new bearings, new brakes, and those chromed 17" Foochs wheels. the ghia slides like a train in the highway, but there could be a bit more style...and becuse of me, first the attitude then the ... REST ...

i got new GREAT GHIA repairpanels from the paruzzi boys, and have to say that this is not some china junk, its real steel, have to locate a fast/good welder though... what else? a new retro sound radio... not installed yet, but im working on it... picks coming later, while i get myself on thr right mood to do some assembly. i guess that in these days.  :-)

the BAD... ok, i tryed to get parts from Keiteleen kone, drive to the yard...but 3 times - no service, no answer, no info....that does it for me. ...then to the motonet vantaa to get parts, ok, in lohja i got brake cylinders but not in helsinki or vantaa... :-(

so when i will try to get more parts in the sametime. from paruzzi.fi.

Little update of my things... my health

OK, after a got out of the meilahti hospital, (2 weeks in wires) from the heart diseace department...  in a much better condition - but 24 pills a day, plus my normal medication... :-( the cancer diagnose was not correct, what i have is a heart sarcoidosis, but lets not stick to that, lets move on, i can cope the pills, and future, but now i feel better, and that great. ok, i´m not totally well, but maybe some day. :-)

there was also someone that wanted to buy my panel van, while it stood on front of the hoospital...

My little co-pilot was not happy that dad will stay so long in the hospital, so now i will spend a lot of time with JIMI. the boy is just sooooo great as a 4 -years old motorhead can be. :-) and boy do he like the cars and bikes? .... to be continued...

ghia convert - on the run.

after many hours of work in kuplapaja, the vert woke up, and wanted home. ok, there were many isuues still to fix but... i wanted to take the "tub" home. for the cruise, it could´nt have been better... it was a warm summer night and i felt great! i also drove the car to our cottage, lost the brakes too, so i had to fix them before driving any further... there was 4 bars air in the tyres so the suspension felt a bit tough, ...and looks like i have to buy also new shocks, to get a better ride.
