this is the truck of the year! the most BAD ASS that i have ever seen - GOOD DAMN, 10 points for everything... this is something that could pop up from my head. heh.

GHIA VERT UPDATE

AT FRIDAY, I rode to mäntsälä with my hardtail HD, to see and make small fixes to the vert.
first i swapped the door striker plate parts, (and it took only 10 minutes...) and now the doors swill stay closed. :-) i was happy ´bout this... second trick was to get the ghia running... ok some crap at the ignition (in the points) after some sips of gas, ... it really started up. it srtayed running even the gas is pretty old, smelled really bad & old... but still it runs. the car dont have any brakes, but i managed to test drive it... even better, now we have allways a shorter list to the inspection... ;-) have to check how to eliminate those black widow spyders, if there is any... just in case... any suggestions?

ok, after this i rode back to helsinki with the bike... and went straight to the cruising... and there was the baddest truck that exist in this planet... you cant top that... check the picks in the other topic. and after the cruising, i went to sepänkatu to see tomi seppälä and talk about the roller cams (with one frosted beer)...heh. sounds like a good friday? it really was.

i got a ghia door "repair set" :-)

mikas bus - back in the business...

remember this? not it has lowered suspension, disc brakes, errrr... nd lot of other things, the engine bay looks like new, and its super smooth to drive - not like my panel van, ok, i have better brakes, and better cornering, but this quitness is what i would like to have... also. :-)

update on the ghias...

the 1966 model has now 3 months permission to drive, while waiting for the car-tax-bill. :-)
well i hope that we will get it running asap. (plus some door striker plates etc...) pretty nice.

christmas coming early? part 9 - 2xghias out of the customs!

yeeha! yesterday i finally got the ghias from the customs... oh boy.
we put a battery to the 66, and tried to get it running, ok, the spark wasn´t at home... :-(
have to check things, from the ignition, but it wasnt totally bad, ...enjoy the picks...
i would guess that we are planning a inspection fix to the 66, and just drive it if its possible.
the 70 model needs ...all.

ok, if you got the wood parts for sale for the 66 model, or a total wiring kit, etc... just let me know.

ok, i know - you are bored to see the panel van...but i looove the hipstamatic  app so i have to take endless pictures... ok, tomorrow i´ll be shooting some picks of the ghia verts... so just sit and wait. :-) at the weekend my plan is to enjoy the vert ghia. :-)
