problems found...

 i bought some old turbo/injection parts. and thought why the jenveys are partially black, and the other one is clear...so i saw that the problem has to be bent "something"...and it really is. no wonder that they cant get it run correctly at the dyno. And just like it has to go, the last bolt won't get off. so i will go and check if i can get it off now, hope to get this project moving again. its 1.1.2026, so no time to waste!

late-night oxyboxer update

Ok, looks promising, this is only a mock-up. to see how things would fit, 

and later on how the old header looks like, this one needs a custom made header, as the oil pump interferes with every header that i do have. 

but lets see who might be the lucky one to make it. 

i also ordered a collector, but it came with a v-band, my mistake. 

maybe the same that will make the primaries, will make the collector too.

this header is not the one, not atleast the final one.

 

need for speed

a great day at kiikala burn out party 2025, even the times were bad.

but its a good start...last time at the strip, around 20 years ago.

the race trans is here!

 it took long, but its finally here, rhino case, liberty gears, super diff, karpiola race axles, etc... still needs brakes. have to search what i have. maybe the porsche 4-pots would be great.  but im ok, with new drums too. more later on...

agent orange and the red rooster

 both of these needs some action. the red one needs the front brake, assembled at the garage, and then back to the cottage. to put it in its place. i don't like the cold weather and working outside. but got to do that, then its done. and as i drive a audi quattro, i can even come back from the cottage, the down hill to the cottage is a bit icy and slippery. and good news with the orange bug, as the transmission is good and ready,  so it might be best to get the bug from cottage to more suitable place to change the gearbox. more of that later. have to go to garage now. ciao!

the weather wasn't the best, but the rain

the race buggy was not easy to move as there is a spool...

got to go to the garage to clean up...

but now i can start to locate the problems in the ghia...

at least when I'm in a better shape...

 

the drag buggy

 ok, i couldn't resist this one. a street buggy from sweden, what a bad ass buggy. 10.7 in the quarter mile.

So i went with JIMI (my son) to Wasa with a trailer, stayed a night in a hotel, then in the morning after a good breakfast, went to the ship without a car or trailer, heading to UMEÅ.There was Mats and Palle, waiting with the buggy in the harbour already. oh boy, a drag buggy but street legal. a bottle of NOS and everything that one might need. we hadn't much time, but after cruising with the buggy at the harbour area...we drove the racer to the ship and then to the trailer and back to helsinki... 

a pretty long trip, but worth every penny. and the buggy.... its just awesome... and fast.
